Sharpening Up for Pink 2015

The Pink 15 IT Service Management Conference and Exhibition is around the corner, and we're here with a primer of what you can expect at the world's most prolific IT service management education event. The conference runs from February 15-18 in Las Vegas and is expected to be an exciting time to dig deep into ITSM principles through a wide range of educational programs and exhibitions. A few particularly noteworthy things to prepare for at the conference include:

A variety of course types
As an education-focused conference, Pink 15 provides attendees with a wide range of opportunities to develop their ITSM skills through different types of courses. The course types are divided into formats including self-paced learning sessions, instructor-led online courses, public classrooms and onsite classrooms. This diversity enables conference participants to balance different types of courses based on their preferred learning style and schedule, making it much easier to delve into ITSM and IT Infrastructure Library information.

Some of the sessions featured at Pink 15 are:

  • ITIL Foundation Courses
  • ITIL Capability Certification Courses
  • ITIL Lifecycle Certification Courses
  • An ITIL Expert Certification Course
  • A Cobit Course

Pink 15 goes beyond these core courses at the event and also offers workshops before and after the main event.

Pre- and post-conference workshops
A variety of workshops will take place prior to and just after Pink 15. Check out the full list here. These workshops include many of the same types of lessons as the courses during the event, but also will include Lean IT certification classes and a diverse range of "How To" seminars.

All told, the courses offered during the event and the workshops that serve as bookends for Pink 15 create ample opportunities to get fully immersed in the ITSM and ITIL worlds, giving you an opportunity to improve your ITSM expertise or just get a refresher.

Odds and ends
Of course, any conference features a variety of nuances ranging from social events to special ticketing policies. Pink 15 is no exception, and Pink Elephant has created a thorough FAQ page where you can get all the information you need to prepare for the event. One particularly noteworthy part of the FAQ page is confirmation that you can earn official Project Development Units through the courses at Pink 15. This ensures that you don't just learn more about ITSM and ITIL, but you also get the credit you need for professional recognition.

Pink 15 is shaping up to be an exciting event and we're thrilled at the oppertunity to be a part of it. We'll be out in full-force in booth 416. See you there!
